Tanya Oliver

Tanya joined Old Sod Travel in 2017. Born, raised, and residing in Ireland, Tanya shares her deep knowledge of Ireland and the British Isles with her clients when working with them to create custom, memorable trips.

Tanya attended University College Dublin (UCD) where she studied Geography and Economics. During her time there she had the opportunity to obtain a J1 visa to the United States where she worked and lived in the Boston, MA region. Upon graduating from UCD, Tanya went on to further her studies at the Michael Smurfit Graduate School where she received a Diploma in Business Studies. Upon completing her studies, Tanya worked as a credit analyst for Equifax and later as the Operations Manager at Experian Ireland.

Since then Tanya has taken time off to raise her family. During this time she was able to curate her love of travel and take every opportunity to explore. She and her family have traveled to the East Coast of the US, Europe, and continue to explore Ireland. Outside of traveling and raising her family, Tanya enjoys golf, tennis, cycling, and hiking. She’s climbed the highest mountain in Ireland, Carrautoohill, Co Kerry and has also won Golfer of the Year in 2016 at her local club.
