Caitlin Pavon

Raised in a big Irish family with deep roots on both sides—her mom’s family is from Galway and her dad’s side hails from Donegal—Caitlin McElhenny Pavon has had careers in law enforcement and medical education, but travel has always been her true passion. Her first trip abroad as a child was to Ireland, and she’s returned four times since. A mother of five, Caitlin has taken her family on many trips that she’s planned, including a cross-country road trip, and her children are well on their way to visiting all 50 states. Most recently, she brought them to visit the old sod and showed them where their ancestors once lived—an experience that beautifully connected generations. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, reading, and finding creativity in everyday moments
