A chocolate tasting experience at Österlenchoklad offers a delicious introduction to artisan chocolate making in the heart of Österlen.

Guests are guided through a selection of handcrafted chocolates while learning about the origins of cocoa beans, the chocolate-making process, and the subtle flavor differences created by varying cacao percentages and ingredients.

The tasting typically includes a range of pralines and chocolate varieties, encouraging participants to explore aromas, textures, and tasting notes much like a wine tasting. Set in a charming countryside environment, the experience combines craftsmanship, local passion, and exceptional flavors, making it a memorable stop for food lovers visiting the region.

This afternoon, enjoy a guided tour with a local farmer - out into the pasture to grazing sheep and cows, around the vegetable garden and the greenhouse. Then into the kitchen, butchery and charcuterie.

This activity offers a rare opportunity to experience winemaking at the forefront of a new Scandinavian wine region.

Set on Sweden's picturesque Kulla Peninsula, the vineyard combines innovative growing techniques with a cool-climate terroir to produce distinctive wines that have earned international recognition, including being served at the 2025 Nobel Banquet. A guided tour and tasting reveal how Swedish wines are crafted in this unique northern environment. Followed by a tasting of selected estate wines, allowing guests to explore the fresh, vibrant character that has put Swedish wine on the global map!

For lunch, challenge your cooking skills in an interactive guided outdoor cooking experience!

Forget dried food, grilled sausages and gray casserole in a large pan. Instead, you will experience well-cooked local dishes by season!

This afternoon, join the owner and head cidermaker for a guided tour through the farm's apple orchards and picturesque countryside!

Along the way, you'll gain insight into the craft of cider making, from orchard management to fermentation, while learning about the estate's organic philosophy and commitment to sustainable farming practices. The experience is complemented by a tasting of the farm's handcrafted ciders, offering a chance to explore the flavors that reflect the character of the land.

Following the tour, enjoy a special "Taste of Scandinavia" dinner served in the charming cider barn. The buffet features locally produced ingredients and regional specialties, creating an authentic culinary experience that celebrates the flavors of southern Sweden.

Spend the day exploring Osterlen on your own. Begin at the dramatic Ales Stenar and the charming fishing village of Kaseberga before following the coastline to the sandy beaches of Sandhammaren. Continue to Stenshuvud National Park for a scenic coastal walk before returning to Orums Nygard where you spend the afternoon relaxing at their spa.

Today you will drive approximately 3 1/2 hours to Gothenburg, Sweden. Drive along the picturesque stretch of granite cliffs, colorful harbors and charming fishing villages. I suggest stopping in Bastad for lunch. We can recommend additional stops if you would prefer to travel up the coast at a leisurely pace.
