Day 1 - Welcome to Germany
After landing in Frankfurt, your private driver will meet you at the airport to drive you directly to Stuttgart, where you can begin experiencing Germany's festive season. After getting settled in, you can begin exploring the city, famous for automobiles and the Mercedes-Benz and Porsche Museums.

Day 2 -Stuttgart's Cannstatter Volksfest
Today you will get your first taste of Germany's beer and folk festivals in the form of Stuttgart's Cannstatter Volksfest. Catch a quick taxi from your hotel to get to the grounds and experience the festival. It is Germany's second largest festival, and one that many tourists often miss by focusing on the world-famous Oktoberfest in Munich.

Day 3 - Train to Nuremberg
This morning, catch your train from Stuttgart to Nuremberg as you enter Bavaria. After arriving and checking into your hotel in the old town, you will join a small group tour of the old town to see Nuremberg's top sites as you wander the medieval town and learn about the city's history dating back to the Holy Roman Empire.

Day 4 - Bamberg
Bamberg is famous for its beer scene, and, with its close proximity to Nuremberg, you will hop on a quick, direct train for a day trip to this nearby town. This medieval city boats beautiful architecture and historic buildings that survived WWII, and with its canals, you will enjoy wandering the town. Of course, Bamberg is very famous for its brewery scene, so you will have ample opportunities to taste the pride of Bamberg, Rauchbier, which is a smoked beer.

Day 5 - Munich
It is finally time to arrive in Munich! You will catch a direct train to Munich, where your centrally-located hotel is a quick walk from the central station. After checking in, your private guide will meet you at your hotel for a gentle walking tour of Munich's old town so you can begin to get your bearings. The tour can be customized to you, ensuring it covers the topics that interest you most while learning about the city through the stories of a local.

Day 6 - Oktoberfest in Munich
Today is the day to understand what all the buzz about Oktoberfest is about. You will be on a private tour with a Munich local to navigate the festival and get tons of insider tips from your expert guide. You will get a chance to experience the most famous and lesser known tents on your tour. There will be beer, local snacks, dancing on tables, singing, and more beer. To truly immerse yourself in the atmosphere, we can set up rentals for traditional garb.

Day 7 - Neuschwanstein Castle
After a beer-filled day prior, it is time to get into nature and see one of Germany's most famous sites: Neuschwanstein Castle. On this full-day tour with your small group, you will take public transportation to the famous castle, walk around the site while learning about the castle's history, and have free time to enter the castle if you wish, before returning with your group to Munich.

Day 8 - Explore the City and Brewery Tour
We have left most of your final day in Munich free, allowing you to return to the Oktoberfest grounds to contiue to experience the atmosphere and enjoy other tents you did not visit on your tour. This evening, you will join a small group craft brewery tour, going to local watering holes while sampling and learning about the new-wave of German beer.

Day 9 - Farewell Germany
After exploring Germany, it is time to say "Auf Wiedersehen." Your private driver will meet you in the lobby of your hotel to take you to the airport for your return flight.
