This morning, meet your private guide for a fascinating walking tour through Edinburgh's historic Old Town. As you stroll along the cobbled streets, your guide will share captivating stories of the city's royal, political, and cultural past. The tour concludes with priority entry in to Edinburgh Castle, where you'll explore Scotland's most iconic fortress with your guide. Discover the Crown Jewels of Scotland, the Great Hall, and the sweeping views over the city from Castle Rock. Later, take a visit to the National Museum of Scotland which is highly recommended. Lots to explore today! Perhaps for outstanding views, get up early and climb to the top of Calton Hill to enjoy the sunrise over the city or Arthurs seat for those of you that like a bit of a challenge!. You should then take a visit to the Palace of Holyrood House, it is commonly referred to as Holyrood Palace or Holyroodhouse and is the official residence of the British monarch in Scotland. A trip to the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art won't leave you disappointed, whether you're an art lover or not. There are plenty of attractions around Edinburgh away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Dean Village or the Port of Leith where you could visit the Royal Yacht Britannia. Afternoon tea aboard the yacht is such a special treat that we can arrange for you. Lauriston Castle and Gardens is the perfect place to go for anyone visiting Edinburgh looking for a piece of Scottish history, as well as peace and quiet.

Your private driver-guide will meet you this morning and you will depart for Pitlochry. Driving from Edinburgh is one of the most scenic drives in Scotland a perfect introduction to the Highlands! Your driver can take stops along the way in Queensferry Crossing Viewpoint to admire the new and old Forth Bridges. You might also like a stop in Perth which was Scotland's former capital and enjoy a coffee and short walk along the River Tay. Our private driver know all the best spots!! On arrival in Pitlochry, you might like to take a tour of the Blair Athol Distillery or visit the House of Bruar, especially if you enjoy quality Scottish goods, local food, and beautiful countryside surroundings. It's often called "The Harrods of the Highlands." Dinner enjoyed at the luxurious surroundings of your Castle tonight.

Your private driver-guide will collect you this morning and you will depart for Inverness. Go via Cairngorms National Park, established in 2003 and is the largest park in the UK and twice the size of the Lake District. Continue on to Cawdor Castle, which provides a lovely glimpse into the history & life cycle of a castle that is still lived in. Afterwards, you might like a trip to the Culloden Battlefield. Experience the powerful emotions of the Battle of Culloden in their visitor centre's 360-degree battle immersion theatre, which puts you right in the heart of the action. Or, you might like to explore Clava Cairns. It is a well-preserved Bronze Age cemetery complex of passage graves; ring cairns, kerb cairns and standing stones in a beautiful setting. Continue on to your next overnight - Inverness. Inverness is special because it's the "Capital of the Highlands," serving as a gateway to the stunning Scottish Highlands and its ancient sites. It's a historic city with connections to the Picts and Jacobites, located on the River Ness, and is famous for being the closest city to Loch Ness. The city itself offers a blend of history, culture, and modern amenities, including historical landmarks, vibrant pubs, and unique shopping areas.

This morning, you are off on to Isle of Skye. Along the way, your guide will stop at landmarks and castles for you to visit. 

This morning, you are off on a Cruise on Loch Ness which is a classic Highland experience, combining stunning scenery with a taste of history and perhaps a search for the legendary Nessie! Sail past hills, forests, and the tranquil waters of Scotland's largest freshwater loch. On your voyage, you'll view the ancient ruins of Urquhart and hear all about the myths and legends of the Loch. Keep an eye out for otters, herons, and ospreys along the loch's edge. Return to Inverness for the evening.

This morning you will leave the Isle of Skye with your driver. Take a ferry from Armadale to Mallaig and continue onto Fort William. It is nestled at the base of Ben Nevis in the Scottish Highlands and offers a blend of outdoor adventures, cultural experiences and natural beauty. Ben Nevis, it is the highest mountain in Scotland, the United Kingdom and the British Isles. The summit is 1,345 metres above sea level and is the highest land in any direction for 739 kilometres. Ben Nevis is home to many incredible trails, from tough-going climbs to gentler hikes. You could also take the Nevis Range Scenic Mountain Gondola which is the only one of its kind in Britain and reaches the heights of 650m. Along the way you will definitely want to stop by Glenfinnan Viaduct to take a photo. 

You are off on an adventure on the Jacobite Steam train today. Described as the greatest railway journey in the world, this 84 mile round trip takes you past a list of impressive extremes. Starting near the highest mountain in Britain, Ben Nevis, it visits Britain's most westerly mainland railway station, Arisaig; passes close by the deepest freshwater loch in Britain, Loch Morar and the shortest river in Britain, River Morar, finally arriving next to the deepest seawater loch in Europe, Loch Nevis! On your return, you might enjoy a trip up Ben Nevis itself on the Nevis Range Mountain Gondola. While it doesn't ascend to the summit of Ben Nevis, it provides breathtaking views of the surrounding Highlands, including Ben Nevis itself.

Meet your driver today and you will depart for Glasgow! Take a stop in the Trossachs and Loch Lomond National Park. The park contains a diverse geography that includes 21 munros (Scottish mountains), two forest parks, 22 lochs, and over 50 designated special nature conservation sites that are home to a variety of wildlife. Loch Lomond itself is the largest inland stretch of water in Great Britain by surface area. You might like to take a river cruise on a steamship before continuing your journey to Glasgow.

This morning check out Glasgow! It offers a rich tapestry of experiences, blending history, culture, nature and modern attractions. Take in the Glasgow Cathedral which is the finest surviving medieval building in Scotland and is dedicated to St. Mungo, the patron saint of Glasgow. Explore the Glasgow Necropolis, a spectacular Victorian garden cemetery with over 50,000 burials featuring monuments by world-famous architects. Overnight in Glasgow.
