Old Sod Travel organized a terrific trip to Ireland. They were friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and thorough. It was a pleasure to work with them and enjoy the benefits of their planning.

From planning to the actual trip Old Sid was a pleasure to work with. We had a trip of a lifetime!

It was a trip of a lifetime to Ireland for 6 friends. From the time we landed until we were back at the airport the experience went off without a hitch. The transport, hotels, dining experience and the wonderful Ireland countryside, people and special places were perfect.

Another memorable, shining summer thanks to the excellent people at Old Sod Travel. Who somehow manage to keep it fresh and exciting. This is our 4th experience with this company, we can’t seem to get enough. With even more esoteric requests this year, focusing on hidden corners along the south and west coasts, we thought, “surely we’ve stumped them this time.” Ha! not a chance. As we delve deeper they follow us anticipating wants, preferences, and needs. Checking in every step–with a light hand and a warm heart. Like a good friendship. Special nod to our maven, Tanya — and family!…. Some lovely new acquaintances: Arran our gallant Dublin guide, the excellent folks at Dunbrody (oh those gorgeous meals), the comfy new Mews at Dromquinna, Anne Marie at Kerry Tour Guides: thanks for that glorious morning at Dereen Gardens– a very special place. As ever and with our deep thanks to Merrion for its continued excellence and unparalleled service, it’s like being transported to a much lovelier time. The incomparable Ard na Sidhe for its otherworldly beauty. Thank you wonderful staff, Debbie: very sorry about the fire alarm… grace under pressure or simply, hospitality at its best. Deirdre, may the Goddess grace your home always. Tony, may your gentle spirit charm many more along your way. Thank you all — again, and again. See you soon, we hope.

I worked with Katie Brubaker of Old Sod to put together a trip through Scotland fitted around a bicycle tour I took. She was easy to work with, gave me great advice on travel arrangements from the U S. and within Scotland, places to stay, guides and restaurants. She listened to what I wanted to do and made it happen, creating a great trip for me. I look forward to working with her to plan future trips.

Katie planned an amazing trip for us! We traveled Ireland with experienced guides, saw many different facets of the country, met colorful fun people, stayed in gorgeous hotels and tasted local cuisine! I highly recommend Katie and Old Sod for your next trip!

Start to finish our planning and trip experience with Karen and Joanne was top notch. Our accommodations, car services, places to visit and most of all our personal driver during the last leg of our trip was fantastic. At one point we had to email Joanne regarding a dinner reservation, and she responded immediately. You can't ask for more than that. We'd highly recommend Old Sod for your international travel needs.

We just got back from Scotland Tour with Old Sod Travel. Julie was our awesome planner she goes over the board to accommodate and schedule all the places that are famous and Instagrammable. Murdo, our private driver, was so awesome that he made our trip to Scotland a trip to remember. More like a new friend to meet than just our driver! Overall we came back from our vacation with happy heart.

These travel agents were fabulous to work with – they ‘got’ what we wanted to do, where we wanted to stay, and how we wanted to travel. Everything was seamless. . . making some of the tedious parts of travel so simple. Their expertise was apparent in all that they booked for us – from an exciting ride through the fjords to an amazing dinner to drivers getting us to our hotels. Our group of four were appreciative and happy travelers!

So many of the logistics and details were taken care of for us, so we were able to relax and have fun!

Catriona did an excellent job of curating a trip to Denmark and Norway that perfectly fit our interests. She created a balance between the guided events and our free time that left us both exhilarated and exhausted. We couldn’t have been happier with our trip!

Katie thoughtfully planned out our multi-generational trip to Scandinavia, and we had an amazing time. She was communicative, detailed, and listened to our needs. My 9 year old daughters and my 70 year old parents all had an amazing experience and we can not wait to go again.
