Old Sod Travel did an incredible job planning, booking and guiding our UK (London, Scotland) vacation! In particular the daily layout structure of the days and events were really smooth, the advice and guidance dead on.

We had an amazing experience with Old Sod Travel  (Sancho Panza Travel) – Sarah and Emily made our experience so easy. I took my five children to Spain solo. My children are ages 20, 18, 16, 14 and 11. Sarah and Emily were on call our entire trip and responded immediately to my questions.

Our family’s favorite place during the trip was Sevilla. The hotel was OUTSTANDING! It was so quiet, the rooms were perfect size for us and the staff was so amazing. They remembered our names and we felt at home. I let the older kids roam the streets of Sevilla because it felt so safe around the hotel. We LOVED our tour guide – he was spectacular and gave us outstanding food recommendations.

The paella making class in Barcelona was outstanding and the BEST recommendation. We had a great time and met amazing people.

I’m so glad we decided to do Spain. The people were so kind and lovely. We tried our best at speaking Spanish and they appreciated our efforts. 🙂

I will definitely contact Old Sod Travel in the future – I would love to do Portugal in the next couple of years!

Old Sod planned our short family vacation to Dublin perfectly. The chosen hotel and lists of restaurants and tours were fabulous. She gave us lots of suggestions and ideas and was able to add tours we were interested in attending. The trip was planned well with plenty of time to explore the city without feeling a time crunch. We have used Old Sod several times to plan our trips and found Karen Mulinari to be an excellent resource. In addition to the important components, she thinks about the details and helped us add extra opportunities to our travel. I highly recommend them, especially after we have just completed our 3rd trip that had many moving parts and much to coordinate.

MaryAnn You nailed it! My wife says it was the best vacation we ever had! I have to agree. We never envisioned that we would be in the Artic, much less in December and below 0DegF, it was great! Everything went fabulous and all the accommodations were perfect! We could not have asked for better accommodations or transfers. My wife’s favorite thing was the dog sled ride when it was -9°F. I’m not sure if that was the best or if eating fresh King Crab was. The champagne and chocolates at the snow hotel as well as the wine and chocolate covered strawberries were greatly appreciated. Thank You.

This was our first time in Germany and, in planning our trip, we interviewed several travel agencies. Guten Morgen blew us away. Dylan listened to everything I said and understood our family’s specific needs. He planned a trip that was absolutely amazing! Not only that, but when we had questions while in Germany, he was available within minutes. We had some last-minute requests while we were on the trip and Dylan made it happen. We will book with them again in a heartbeat.

Diane and Heather at the Old Sod team organized a great 10 day trip to Ireland for our party of four and we really liked the guides they engaged for us. Our singing Dublin guide, Conor, gave us an insiders’ feel for the city. Our guide/driver, Declan, gets a 10 for professional, courteous, and attentive. Plus, he is a great driver and his Mercedes-Benz van was extremely comfortable.

Regan helped with us with our trip to Norway. They did a great job creating an itinerary to meet our needs and interests. Highly recommend.

We recently went to Portugal and can’t emphasize enough how amazing it was to work with Sarah Laine! She arranged beautiful hotel accommodations in Lisbon and Porto, provided delicious restaurant recommendations, and arranged private car service with two of the nicest drivers we’ve ever used. She also took care of tickets for the train, a private winery tour and several small group activities. Everything was perfect and her attention to detail made this trip very special!
